Kappa Akademy
The Kappa Akademy is a program developed in response to a nationwide study that determined American Youth were woefully ill prepared for future careers in the fields of science and technology. The program seeks to provoke interest in these areas early in the lives of young boys by providing them early exposure to applied science, excercises in math , and computer technology.

The program grew out of the "Delta Academy" a program sponsored by the Valley Forge Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. There was a call from the community to create a similar program for young boys. The Kappas of Abington-Ambler answered that call and Kappa akademy in early 2005.

Kappa Akademy meets monthly, on the third saturday of the month and regularly hosts 20 to 30 young boys between the ages of 8-12.
